A new trailer for The Alienist was released earlier this week! Unfortunately for us, it also came with some sneaky bad news – the description of the video on TNT’s official Youtube Channel states the series is set to premiere in 2018! Up to this point, every article had been assuming the date would be set to late 2017. Well, it happens… let’s keep our fingers crossed for some promotional stills soon!

The first promotional still from The Alienist has been released! It was shared by Luke himself on his official Twitter and Instagram accounts yesterday, and he wrote: “I think you’re going to be blown away by both the scale and also the intimacy of #TheAlienist. It’s incredible working on something as ambitious as this. I can’t wait for you to see it and meet John Schuyler Moore”. We have added the high quality image to our gallery!
